Washed Up Crafts: beach craft workshops

Washed Up Crafts workshops are relaxed, guided sessions where families turn sea glass, driftwood, shells, rope and pebbles collected from local beaches into something beautiful to take home. They’re a lovely family activity for a rainy afternoon or a holiday on the Yorkshire coast — and everyone, from little ones to grandparents, can join in.

Beach School and family coastal activities

Explore the East Yorkshire coastline with a qualified teacher: rockpooling, fossil hunting, seabird spotting and tide science on the beaches at Bempton, Flamborough and Bridlington. Private family sessions can be arranged, which make a great activity for families visiting the area.

Washed Up Crafts Shop: handmade sea glass and driftwood pieces

Andy also makes one-off coastal art and driftwood pieces from beachcombed materials for the Washed Up Crafts Shop. The first pieces will be available to buy online very soon, as well as at local events.
